We have decommissioned one of our Windows 2003 file servers, now I need to assign the 1 TB FS back to the storage. Do I simply delete the FS in Celerra manger and will assign back to storage pool?
You will need to delete the iscsi lun first, and then the file system. If there is a lun on a fs, then Celerra will not let you delete the file system.
After you delete the file system, the storage space will go back to the storage pool.
Just to play it safe and to be 100 percent sure before i delete the lun and perhaps do some cleanup. Is there a command i can run to see all the iscsi lun in use?
