Query 1 : If some one is new to the customer environment how to check whether DWDM is connecting both the sites to form a single fabric ?

Is there a way or command to check this and how ?

Query 2 : Is DWDM used only with Cisco or is it used with Brocade switches also ?

Query 3 : Is core and the principal switch one and the same in cisco or is it possible to have one switch as core switch and another switch as the principal switch ?
