I'm in a quandary. I placed an order for a monitor from Dell on 8/8. The monitor is stuck in a Fedex facility in PA with a delivery status that has not been updated since 8/10. Dell support for orders is only AI chat and it tells me to check with shipper. FedEx chat states that my only recourse is to submit a claim but then explains that a claim cannot be made against ground delivery orders and points me back to Dell. Is there anyway I can talk to a human in Customer Service at Dell?
Same problem here except my order hasn’t even been processed by the delivery date… I’ve been a lifelong Dell user but they’re about to lose me forever because the lack of support is infuriating
@Rich_Stover Nope! If you tell the answering machine AI you want to make a purchase you’re immediately connected to an actual person (of course you are lol) but they have to transfer you to order support, but they’re having “technical difficulties” so they give you the number for order support, which just redirects you to the main support number. It’s completely unacceptable for one of the top 50 tech companies globally to have literally zero customer support. I’ve got lots of time so I’m gonna keep calling the sales number and requesting to be transferred until I get a resolution.
@Rich_Stover I actually just got off the phone on my third try of this, they finally got me through to an order support agent who informed me the part I ordered is out of stock. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I said I wanted to buy a computer, and said yes when they asked if I was looking for a gaming PC. I wish you the best of luck, I’m gonna cancel my order and purchase on eBay, Dell is never hearing from me again.
