Very high level question;
Are user activity logs, including changes, etc, logged anywhere within the DataDomain system? Or perhaps are configurable to do so? Additionally, would those logs be something that can be easily extracted/etc by a log monitoring tool?

Seeing the commands, in my opinion, is even stronger than seeing the file changes that were implemented. Thank you Patrick!

Glad I could help. You can also use log view debug/messages.engineering and then hit SHIFT-G to go to the end of the file (newest entries). From here you can use /username to highlight entries. Use PG UP/DOWN to navigate.

Is there a way to find the user entries, including tape creation for a particular date ?

Check your audit.log (log view audit.log), maybe you can find some information there.

Do you mean commands that users run on the system or file changes made by users?
You can see commands ran by looking at log watch debug/messages.engineering
