Problem importing DELLSDPCatalogPC.cab
Hi,
when I triy to import DELSDPCatalogPC.cab in SCUP 4.5 (Build Version: 4.50.1103.0000), I get the follwing Error:
Location: ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog
Error 1: The 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/wsus/2005/04/CorporatePublishing/SoftwareDistributionPackage.xsd:Title' element is invalid - The value '' is invalid according to its datatype 'http://schemas.microsoft.com/wsus/2005/04/CorporatePublishing/SoftwareDistributionPackage.xsd:Title' - The actual length is less than the MinLength value.
Imported File: DellSDPCatalogPC.cab
For more information, refer to the log file: C:\Users\czygan-admin\AppData\Local\Temp\UpdatesPublisher.log
The Import of DELLSDPCatalog.cab (for servers) worked like a charme.
Please advice me how to import the CAB-File for Clients.

importing from: ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/DellSDPCatalogPC.cab only yeilds 137 items. If i remeber correctly it was at 2000+ before.
Once it imports i see no models of laptops i would expect to see under BIOS(Latitude E6400, E6410, E6500, E6510).
It imports, but seems to be very incomplete.

It looks like the problem has been fixed. I was having the same problem last week, but mine are importing today.DELL-Warren B

An updated catalog was released on 4/1/2011. Is this the version that is missing items?

The one I downloaded didn't have the newest firmware for an Optiplex 980 which I was sort of expecting. Perhaps they're still working on it. You can see the catalogs at ftp://ftp.dell.com/catalog/ and the latest DellSDPCatalogPC.cab does look pretty small.NetworkerHH1

Hi,
same here, I too got only 137 items. However, the xml problem semms to be fixed.

I see that the current catalog is dated 4/8/2011 (last friday). Does that address this issue?
