Support assist offered me about a two months ago update of the Alienware Command center, unfortunately from that update the thermal controls and power management stopped working.

And I keep getting with every launch a message:

"Not supported Alien FX devices were detected. Alienware command center will enable the full FX experience once an Alien FX compatible device is connected. Please note that some may be unavailable without a connected Alien FX device."

I have tried the common procedures. Restart, Full Reinstall, Switch off/on.. Always using software made for my model from Dell's website.

I guess, this is a compatibility issue as all has been fine before the update. Did anyone manage to fix it?

As I found the same issues reporting from user all over the internet.
