Dell Inspiron 7577 code 45
Recently I just found out that the webcam is not working or not detected when I use skype. I open up the device manager, cant find the imaging devices as well, but there is integrated camera showing as hidden. However the device status is code 45.
Is it the wiring problem, driver problem or hardware problem? This laptop is still under warranty though.
Please advice.
Since this happen recently, I suggest using the System Restore tool on system to go back to an earlier time before webcam stop working. Type Create A Restore Point onto the [Cortana] search box, select System Restore, click Next, and then Show More Restore Points. Please select the date before the webcam stop working.
Note: System restore doesn't affect any of your documents, pictures or other personal data. Recently installed programs and drivers might be uninstalled

Thanks for the reply, I did system restore, it's the same. Still can't detect the webcam.
