DTC Errors while writing to Isilon share
One of our client servers (Windows 2008) is getting below DTC errors while writing to a Isilon SMB share :
ERROR WRITING TO LOG: UnityService, CopyFileAction Error, Host: WEB025-VP (::1), Parameters:, Access to the path '\\isiln.XXX \ XXXSCAN\Warehouse18\00003297\f0463577-1759-451c-8df6-e878badb73c70001.pdf' is denied., Exception: Network access for Distributed Transaction Manager (MSDTC) has been disabled. Please enable DTC for network access in the security configuration for MSDTC using the Component Services Administrative tool.
ERROR WRITING TO LOG: UnityService, CopyFileAction Error, Host: APP002-VP (::1), Parameters:, The network path was not found.
, Exception: Network access for Distributed Transaction Manager (MSDTC) has been disabled. Please enable DTC for network access in the security configuration for MSDTC using the Component Services Administrative tool.
Historically we had these errors randomly couple of times like 9 months ago and they started again. But this time they are very often.
Not sure if its related to permissions /Authentication/some bug in one-fs code. Question is is there a way around to avoid enabling MSDTC
to fix this issue? what could be reason for these errors now?
