Latitude E5430 ram update
Hi, i wanted to add a ram bank to my old pc since 4gb is not much. I asked in community where they deal with pc and they told me that I would not have had problems if I had taken a ram bank identical to mine but with different mhz frequencies (1333mhz and 1600) only that from the label of the ram that I would like to buy there is a different figure i "TM". Someone who tells me what they are for and if I can actually add the ram?
1 person also has this problem

The specs for the E5430 call for DDR3 1600 (DDR3L 1600 will also work) up to a maximum of 16 GB. The best and recommended upgrade is to buy a kit of 2 so that the RAM is matched and compatible. That would be something like here at the Crucial site. So in your case that would be 2 x 4 GB for a total of 8 GB. Or 2 x 8 GB for a total of 16 GB if you so choose.
If you do keep your 4 GB and simply add a second 4 GB which is a different speed, then the RAM will run at the speed of the slowest RAM.
For the record I have an E5430 which I upgraded to 16 GB of Crucial RAM and it is a very quick and responsive little system.
