I recently obtained a Dell V350 Dimension. When I plug it in (either to an outlet or a power strip),the keyboard lights flash momentarily and the computer whirs briefly (less than a second). I've never owned a Dell, and I was wondering if this is characteristic of this make/model or is it a symptom of a problem?
