Folks - this is a related follow on to another post. Since XP died and hosed my on-board, 1 TB RAID 0, I've installed Ubuntu Linux so I can get some work done. I'm wondering if I can get the RAID controller to be recognized by Linux. This is WAY complicated because nobody at Dell can tell me what type of controller I have (although there is some evidence it's some sort of NVIDIA).

Any ideas on Dell on-board RAID controllers being usable in ubuntu Linux?
