Alienware 14 Locking Up
Hello Alienware community,
I have an Alienware 14 gaming laptop and have a real issue. It doesn't seem to be affecting the system performance wise but is worrying. My system keeps locking up when I start the system. It only happens once per start up but is worrying me. Also when it locks up the fan at the back starts to blast at full speed, then stops. I have a cooling pad so I don't think overheating is the problem mainly because it happens outside of gaming. It lasts for about 10-15 seconds. Here are my specs.
4 generation intel core i5 processor 4200m 2.5ghz
Nividia GenForce GT 750m
8 gb of RAM
Thanks very much in advance and any help will be appreciated! :)

Thank you so much! I don't know why Dell would put out an unstable product but whatever. I appreciate it a lot, that's been bugging me for so long!

Check to see if SupportAssist is installed. If it is, remove all instances of SupportAssist and SupportAssist Agent. Why we haven't received an updated version that is automatically updated and this one isn't pulled is beyond me. A lot of people have had this issue, including myself and the hotfix didn't fix it.
