Device manager is cycling repeatedly.

not sure why or what it is looking for. i removed most of the extra stuff. all i have is a keyboard mouse and monitor attached.

dont want to call in for tech support, not even sure that could help. i downloaded alien autopsy and its says everything is fine.

thought my hdd went out so got a ssd . havent made that move yet till i know whats going wrong. i also have x-crossfire. 6950. the last time i updated the cards, it totally messed up my system. thats also around the time i started to have problem.

help.

What is it saying that you are missing on the device manager?

Can you get there and right click onthe device with the error, go to properties, then Driver details, select HW iD's and copy paste it here.

nothing that i can see. i ended up calling tech support and the tech was able to log on to my machine and after some looking i guess the easiest solution is to restore to day 1. i am thinking of doing a clean install of windows on a new ssd... still contemplating my choices.

and there are no errors that we saw. he seems to think that a driver is looking for a device. not sure if that makes sense. the only drivers i have updated were for the video cards.

any thoughts, please share. stil not sure what i am gonna do but its going to take a while do dl/ the windows .iso files to reinstall windows. or just go buy another copy.. lol..

after calling tech support, the fix was to restore to factory settings. nope didnt help. now i found that the problem is with the human interface devices tree. the first item hid-compliant consumer control device is resetting the manager. i tried turning ot off, uninstalling driver and reinstalling a new one and still it wont stop trying to.. do something.

help? i dont want to send it back and it is under warrenty. thanks in advance.
