Hey all!

I just got an Alienware 17 R4 and I'm not sure if there's an issue with the monitor, I'm crazy, or a combination of both.  I did search for my issue on the forums, but didn't see anything specifically like what I'm experiencing. 

It has 2560 x 1440 resolution, gsync ready (if that makes a difference), and I think that there are very prominent horizontal lines.  Images and videos just seem to have small (but noticeable) horizontal lines, almost like ridges.  It's as if, for any given image, if it had depth and you ran your fingers down it, you would feel ridges.  Crazy, I know, but it's very noticeable. 

This is my first 2560 monitor, though, so I wanted to see if that's a normal side effect and I'm not used to the awesomeness, or if there's something wrong with this particular unit. 

Below is a screen grab of what I'm talking about.  Does it seem, for lack of a better word, ridge-y to anyone else?
