How do I fix a limping space bar?
My space bar is kind of dead on the left side, it does not respond when I press it and it feels weak. I took it apart and everything seems to be fine, the clips are still intact and so are the hinges but when I place it back it still doesn't solve the problem. Could be something damaged that I do not know of? I am out of solutions here so if have anything that could help, I will appreciate it.

So you are telling me that I can fix a limping spacebar just by applying gel and cleaning it?
Try it.
Its either that, live with it, or replace keyboard.

It has worked for me before in the past. You get it down at the corner auto-parts store.I've never tried it, but if that doesn't work ... I suppose you could try securing a nice piece of foam rubber under it.Dell Rockstar

Yeah, it is weird. The left side is just unresponsive, it is probably because something is wrong with the silicone cap.

dielectric grease :) is what im assuming hes referring too.. link for purposes.. can get smaller and cheaper then this.. i use this stuff ALOT specially on fords HAHA!

Try tiny amounts of Silicone Grease (aka Automotive Bulb-Grease) on metal spring hinge-points and where plastic rubs in channels. Everything must be clean.
