Mx14 specs changed
The most expensive model of the Alienware Mx14 on the Dell Canada website has had its specifications and price altered. This wouldn't be such a big deal, aside from the fact that it was stated that the deal would last until May 13th, and that the change has dropped $150 in hardware for only a $49 drop in price.
The 8gigs of memory is down to 6 ($100 to increase it back to 8).
The LCD display is down to to 1366x768 ($50 to increase it back to 16x9)
I had the original deal saved in my cart, an email was sent to me saying that I had until May 13th to purchase that configuration of the Mx14 however when I checked after recieving the email, the configuration had been erased. I will be calling customer service on Monday to ask about this, but what is there that I can do about a $100 net price increase (more after tax) on a laptop whose configuration and price were guaranteed until May 13th?

EDIT: I know there is that lovely "prices subject to change without notice" line in the disclaimers, but what if I had already placed my order? Would I be getting a $100 deal?

Just want to say that I saw the sticky regarding posting in the Alienware Club forum section, but I do not own the Mx14, however I hope to soon.
- One other bit of information is the price increase to the top end Mx14 model coincided with a change to the design and layout of the Dell system customizer/checkout page.
