technical support
HI,
I managed to soak my alienware x17, tried removing the battery, drying out & loading but to no avail, i just get a blank screen & 4 beeps repeating when i turn it on, its been a week now. Trying to get hold of technical support but i live in Japan & the email inquiry wont accept my acc number on the us or uk sites & technical support in the us say my machine isnt registered with them so they cant help. It cant be this hard surely? do dell care at all about their customers??
any advice please.....

If you bought it in japan they should provide you assistance so I will recommend you to call them again and ask them what will be the best way to register you system.
The 4 beep code is related to a memory issue so you can troubleshoot the system with one memory at the time so you can determine if it’s one of the stick or if it’s one the ports the one damage.

And i would point out i bought the computer in japan with full english keyboard & setup so it isnt like they werent aware there are english speakers buying the product in japan
