Wake up Alienware 14 using keyboard or mouse?
I have recently purchased an Alienware 14 and it is running Win Pro 8.1. When it goes to sleep the only way I can get it to wake up is to press the power button. No other keys on the laptop keyboard or the mouse pad will wake it up. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse connected using USB and they will not wake it either. I have looked at the BIOS (ver A06) and I do not see any type of wake up option. In Device Manager, all USB "Allow this device to wake up this computer" is grayed out. What am I missing here? At home, I have this laptop connected to a monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse and the lid is closed all of the time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello MW@!
I would recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the video card driver that might help you to fix the problem.
Please let us know how it goes!

I uninstalled/reinstalled the video card drivers and it did not change anything. Only the power button will wake the laptop from sleep.
