hi tfay,
i think, your PC boots into OS without further problems, am I right ?
It happeared the first time after you reinstalled you OS ?

You have access to the BIOS ? if yes, then check whether the is set set the HDD in SATA Mode ; if yes, then set to IDE...
You should also try a battery flip, which means : power off PC and unplug from wall outlet > press power button for a few seconds > flip the battery , located near the PCI-e 16 slot, for about 10 seconds > flip back , start the unit...

No, unfortunately, after this error message flashes on the screen, the PC then hangs on a blank (black) screen, with the cursor (underline char) in the upper left corner...
Plus, I haven't reinstalled the OS (Vista)... weird, eh?
