buying a new computer help please
hi, im buyin a new dimension 4600 and i have it in my cart and ready but for some reason a belkin gold surgemaster is in my cart and it adds like 35 dollars onto the price and i cant remove it...i went back and look at my configuration 10 times and i do not have any surgemaster clicked...i want to get rid of this because i do not need it but it is always in my cart...can someone help me please

Have you already placed the order, or is it still only seating in your cart? If the order has not been submitted and still in the cart, then change the " 1 " in the box to zero, click 'Remove Item" and reorder. Once an order has been submitted, the you will have completely cancel the order with Dell and place a new order. You can cancel by posting the request in Customer Care - General (Non-Technical) conference, remember to include your customer and order numbers.

Have you tried clicking "Remove Item" it's in small print, on the right hand side of the page?

I 've checked the site and found that on the page "Select Accessories" there is a box at the top of the page, titled "Protect Your Investment" showing a Belkin Gold Surgemaster @ $39.00 that has been prechecked by Dell.
So, if anyone does not want to purchase this item, then the check must removed.
A real tricky move by Dell that waits for the unwary.Try placing your order now with this in mind.

if i click the remove item button it removes the whole desktop i configured and the surgemaster....there is no thing in the my cart that lets me remove it..i dont wanna be forced to buy this 35 dollar item

If you go back into your order, Dell adds it on page 3 I believe. It's very hard to notice, tiny little box checked.
