Computer dead!!
today my pc froze up,no reaction whatsoever and the mouse disappeared.i shut it down manually and after that my pc wouldnt boot up anymore i got the "hit f2 to retry reboot or f2....."screen,all leds in the back were yellow except the one that says c on it ,so i opened up the case and disconnected everything kooked it up again and voila it worked again.
so...i was just wondering what that may have been cause it really got the sh@t scared outta me??

if you have a newer machine, 4300, 4300s, 4400, 8200,
instead of opening the case you can do an auto-redection of IDE devices
go into the bios by pressing the F2 key,
at the BIOS screen press the ALT key, then press the F key,
it should do a little beeping,
press ESC, then save changes and exit,
upon exit you should screen that says "automatic detection of IDE devices" it should boot find afterwards
