Default Message received when using the Internet:
IEXPLORE 00000:b00b9a03
It gives me options to Shut Down and read Details. At the end it says if the problem persists to contact the vendor. This happens at least 5 times a day when I'm using the Internet. It also happened when I was trying to download FLASH to view a website.
If you know any solution to this problem, please e-mail (jallena1@bellsouth.net).

Thanks. Are you sure this is the complete error message? We need to know which module iexplorer is causing the error in, and that seems to be left out of the error message (probably because you copied and pasted the error message and the information between the < and > was left out because it was interpreted by the Dell forum editor as being an html tag).

The message actual had the word 'unknown' enclosed in brackets in that area but when I pasted it into the message, I got a red flag message that said "The tag: (brackets) is not allowed. Please go to Scratch Pad and refer to the post titled "Allowed HTML Tags" for a list of support elements???
JaniceThis error can often (but not always) be caused by spyware or other parasites running on your computer. The first thing to do is to get rid of any spyware. Download and install either Ad-aware or Spybot or both. After installing these programs select the option to update the spyware definitions then run the programs and allow them to remove any spyware they find, particularly if they find new.net or SaveNow.

Steve,
I tried to download the lavasoft and security.kolla and the default message appeared during the download process and did not complete the download. I tried the microsoft method and did not find the new.net, tldctl2c class, (Method 1); or Method 2.
I remember a while ago that Dell mentioned that I needed a dll file when I sent them an email about four years ago. I will try and find that information.
Thanks for your help. If you have any other suggestions, let me know.
Janice

When it gives you the error, choose the option to read the details. Report the details of the error message here and perhaps someone can help.
