Desktop making noises?
Every computer has it's own noise it makes when it's on right? I wasn't sure where to put this so this post maybe moved. But I just got my Desktop Dimension 3000 computer on Friday and I'm not use to this noise it's making and it's been makin this noise since I guess Tuesday or Monday. But it's not a noise you can really describe.. it isn't really loud...I just get paranioded when computers are a little loud and making noises that I THINK may sound like there COULD be something wrong..
It could be normal noise though... I guess.

my dad refuses to take the computer apart when it's under a two year warrenty.
I've tried quite a few things from that link.. still theres noise. theres actually two noises.
One that sounds like noise that the computer makes when it's loading up something..and other is I think like a hum noise.

The Dimension 3000 requires no computer knowledge. You just push the little tab in back and the side pops right off. You can do this carefully even with the computer running. It's even easier than cleaning out the crumb tray of your toaster.

you can remove the cover without tools?I printed out all the directions on the several things it could be.Now the ABCD is lit up on back of my computer dunno what it meansshesagordie

well I already ran Dell Diagnostics and it's not the Hard Drive(Thank GOD!) and I ran the Abnormal noises coming from my system and that passed.but When I did a Express Diagnostic It had an error that readsError Code 0F00;136CMSG:IDE device failed:Blank media or no media is present in optical drive test requires media with digitial data (Resource CD, installation CD)The given error code and message can be used by Dell Techinical Support to Help diagnose the problem.shesagordie

Okay Now I feel stupid that I didn't know that... Stupid computer talk!Soo? basically nothin' wrong then? Since that's only error I recieved when running the Dell Diagnostic test?glad I didn't send an E-Mail to Dell Tech Support than! I'd feel completely stupid not that I don't already.
