DISK DEFRAG PROBLEMS
Hi,
I have a Dimension 4100 866Mhz blah blah blah. The problem I have is the following: Whenever I attempt a defragmentation of my hard drive the bloody thing freezes. Ctrl+Alt+Del does nothing after this. This is a recent problem though as I was able to peform defrags before this.
Anybody know what's up here?

It sounds like you have things runnung in the back ground..
do the ctrl+alt+del first and end task on everything except systray and explorer..
if you still have a problem post back and those smarter than I will help..
