I operate an 8200 XP and have the ICF connected that came with the system. Yesterday, computer was on but not connected to internet (I use a dial-up connection). The computer just started trying to dial up the internet connection all by itself! My husband reported this to me, he promptly turned off the computer so I don't know if alleged hacker would have been successful. Any tips or advice on what happened and do I need extra security?
