Keyboard Issue with WIN

I upgraded to Windows 8 over the weekend, and accept for the fact that my number keys and the symbols no longer work, everything is going just fine?  Anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?  I've already looked at and downloaded all the new drivers and installed them and rebooted, but no luck.  Ya know how hard it is to type and email address with the "at" sign????

Thanks,

Dave

Does keyboard work on different PC or can you test a different keyboard on this PC?

Is keyboard connected to rear USB port on the PC? Have you tried a different rear USB port?

Was this a clean install or an update from a prior version of Windows (what version?)?

Is there an updated keyboard driver for Win8?

Manually set a System Restore point. Then uninstall the keyboard in Device Manager. Shut down normally and reboot. Windows should re-install the keyboard driver.
