Memory (mis)usage
I'm not sure, but I think that I have problem with the memory on my PC
from my system resources I get this readout:
Total Physical Memory 255.50 MB
Available Physical Memory 67.91 MB
And when I look at the memory subsection there seems to be 6 cases of my graphics card "32mb Nvidia" (See below) .
Is this eating away at the memory?

Yes, I am having problems. It is running like a dog.
I checked the usage as soon as I swtiched on. So therefore how can the PC be using just under 190mb of memory with nothing being used bar windows and norton?

As I explained, Windows will use everything it can get, then return it as needed...
Turn off Norton, too!
After boot do a Ctrl-Alt-Del and see what is there.

Right, turned off Norton.

without norton, the free memory is 90mb out of 256
if you say this is normal then fine!! (why would there be 6 references to my video card in the memory section though?)

Windows memory allocation is dynamic, and it does quite well without tampering. It basiclly keeps all it can for itself, but changes as programs make requirements.
If you are not having any problems, leave it alone and stop looking at it...
If you are having problems, post the details and we will be glad to help you.
