motherboard

not sure if in right place but here goes. I have a Dell dimension pentium processor running windows 95 ..64mb ram 3.2gb eide hard drive plus additional 40gb hard drive.
can I upgrade my processor speed or would it be easier to just buy a new one?
Or what would be cheaper and less headaches?
Thanks in advance

It is difficult to answer your question without knowing the exact model of your Dell Computer. Still, you can look at the following web site:

    http://www.roberthancock.com/dell/

For information about upgrading a wide variety of Dell systems.

For futher information, go to the Dimension - Upgrade Hardware section of Dell Talk where the upgrade gurus are busy answering similar questions. They too will require you to provide the model of your computer, so be sure to post it for a quicker response.

I believe that your system is so old that there is not a very viable upgrade path. Still, it wouldn't hurt to ask over in the Dimension - Upgrade Hardware forum.
