- Thanks... yeah just uninstalled it and that worked.My computer is still experiencing slowdown and nonreponsive programs quite often. I have Ad-Aware and Norton Security, both tell me that there is no third party programs on the computer, and I've dropped my process list down to 37 background processes (including Norton's Auto Protect and ZoneAlarm). But I suppose there is no magic key that will unlock my 2.9ghz of pentium power is there? I'll just have to toil in the bowels of my computers iner workings to try and compensate for bad performance. Or maybe you have a key?:smileyindifferent:

I am having difficulties with NotifyAlert as well, but when I try to remove Dell Support using Add/Remove through Control Panel, the sytem won't allow me to do so. It "dings," and then stops.
Any suggestions as to how else I might disable NotifyAlert?

Go to Start|Control Panel|Add or Remove Programs and uninstall Dell Support. That's what is generating the messages.
