8500 Resolution Problems

Hi everyone,

Dell 8500 w/ Mobility Radion 9000 Video Card w/ 32 MB RAM.

I recently reimaged my 8500 laptop and now have a problem setting my screen to a resolution greater than 1280 x 800. After reimaging, in my display settings, I now have the option of selecting two monitors. I don't think I had that option under the factory settings. I can only select the first monitor and that monitor only allows a resolution as high as 1280 x 800. Before reimaging, I was able to set higher resolutions.

Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem?

    Hello, I have the same laptop and my problem is that I can't get any display other than VGA mode. when I change the properties, I get a blank screen. I'm in the process of upgrading the drivers. I hope that this will work. Did reinstalling the drivers solve your problem?
