CPU 100%

I have Inspiron 6400 E1505, Core 2 Due, 1G RAM, Vista.

My cpu utilization is constantly on 100%. I checked the processes, noone of them seems to overload the cpu. I even reinstalled the OS, nothing helps.

Did you click the "show all processes" button? Something is eating CPU cycles and it should show up in task manager.

Have the same problem with my E1505.

I run Check Disk (ckdsk) followed by System Mechanic.

Don't know what it does, but it clears it up.

May have to run ckdsk in Safe Mode.
