Dell 3521 screen issues
Have had a few issues with my laptop first screen cracked so got that changed now just been informed I have an issue with the video cable connection on my motherboard which requires replacement and not worth doing, is there anything I can do? I have tried to connect to another monitor but laptop just makes 7 beeps and does nothing , warranty expired last October any help would be greatly received

Hi Mattyracer,
8 beeps indicate LCD screen failure. Perfrom the same steps as suggested earlier that is flea power & check if it helps.

Hi Mattyracer,
Welcome to the Community Forum.
7 beeps indicate motherboard failure. Disconnect all peripherals, Ac adapter, battery, press & hold the power button for 15 seconds and check if it works.
If the issue persists even after that I suggest that you get it serviced by a technician. Let me know the region you belong to, to check the options.
