Dell Precision M3800 add/replace hard drive

I have a Dell Precision M3800 Mobile Workstation which I bought in July 2014. It's specs are:

8 GB RAM
Nvidia Quatro K1100M
Intel i7 processor
6 cell battery
500 GB Hybrid-SATA 2.5" hard drive

I am not really satisfied with the performance of the hard drive which is why I am looking into replacing it with a 500 GB Samsung 850 Evo SSD. I have a few questions:

1. Is there space for two harddrives in my laptop, so I can keep my current hard drive as a second hard drive and use the SSD as main hard drive? If yes, does the SSD then have to be in e.g. mSATA or M.2 format?

2. If I have to replace my current hard drive, should I then buy the SSD as a 2.5" drive or mSATA?

3. What tools do I need to open up my laptop and do the replacements?

There is space for only one 2.5" drive inside -- the SSD needs to be mSATA if you want to add a drive.

    Service manual is above.

    Thanks for your reply.

So, you are saying that there will be room for both the existing 2.5" HDD and a new mSATA SSD so I can have two hard drives installed?

Yes, there is one mSATA connector in the system and one bay for a 2.5" drive.
