I have a Dell Studio with the same problem. I have registered it online  numerous times but the Dell Registration screen keeps coming back. The buttons on the registration screen do not work.

I still have not got a fix for it and Dell Support has be NO HLEP!!!  Any ideas?

I deleted the program bcont.exe, and have not had the issue reappear

I have a Dell 1545 Inspiron that I purchased at Best Buy. I have the same problem.  I have already registered online but occasionally still get the registration screen that requires a reboot to get rid of but it keeps coming back.  Would appreciate some help.  In other forums I have seen that Dell support so far seems unable to fix this.

You can add me to the list also.  I have a Dell 1737 bought at Best Buy.  The Dell welcome/registration screen keeps popping up, but none of the buttons on the screen work and the welcome screen can't be turned off.  I have to restart my computer to get the screen off of my desktop.

Here is the best option that I have found to resolve this lovely pop-up window that Dell decided to put on this Windows Image. You have to love large companies that don't know their left hand from their right hand.
