Inspiron 1501
I would like to know how good is that series with AMD Turion™ 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56, 1GB RAM and ATI RADEON® Xpress1150 with 256MB HyperMemory™. Is the proc good and which intel series/model can it be compared to? My dell tech support friend suggests intel dual core instead of AMD. So I just wanna know if that processor is good enough.

Dell has recently changed the 1501 to have the TL-50 processor and not the TL-56 (grumble)208

I think it has ATI x1400 hypermemory card, which is likely with 128MB onboard.
Is AMD X2 comparable to only Celeron M, not any model of pentium dual core?208
