Inspiron 3520- Screen messing up
I am having the same screen problems. I assumed it was related to win 8 so I changed mine to win 7 pro. With this change I still have the problem. I tried the suggested “LCD BIST’' There were no lines on the screen. Also the start up screen is always clear and then as soon as I log in then there is a problem. I have tried to adjust the screen res when this problem is happening and it fixed it right away. So I think that there could be a hardware issue. Please any recommendations would be great.

Thanks for your post.
Have you tried hooking up an external monitor? Do you see the same issues there? If so, it may be either the video card or the motherboard. If not, it may be the screen.
If you are still under warranty, please contact Tech Support for additional troubleshooting. If not, you may have to replace either the video card or the motherboard.
