Internal Mic not working properly!!!

Dear Sir/Mam,

 I am currently using Dell Vostro 1440 and I am facing a problem with Internal Mic.  My internal mic having some issues with the audio as it unable to hear my voice while I am sitting straight and everytime time I try to say something through internal mic while using Google Hangouts and all that I have to bring my mouth closer to the mic to say anything!!

I am very dissappointed with Dell in this very thing!! Kindly provide a valid solution for this problem...

    Hi,

    Welcome to Dell Community Forum.

    If this is a recent occurrence and the internal mic was working fine earlier, I would recommend that you do a System Restore and take the system back to a date when it was working fine.

    Please note: Any application recently installed on the computer would be erased however, the files and folders already saved on the computer would be intact.

    Sometimes, an issue like this may also occur due to updates not being installed properly on the system and if System Restore does not help, please update the Audio drivers for your computer by clicking on the link below.

    Enter the Service Tag, select the Operating System you are using and then download and install the latest Audio driver.
