INTERNET EXPLORER KILLS POWER

Internet explorer shuts off my computer every time I use my laptop without the power cord. The same happens with my  wife's computer. I think it was a bad update. Is there any fix for this?

    Please reply with the exact system model and the operating system installed on your computer so that I can assist you further.

    Alternatively, check in Safe Mode with Networking:

    • Power off the computer.
    • Restart the computer, tap F8 on Dell logo 2-3 times.
    • This will take you to ‘Windows Advanced Boot Options’.
    • Choose ‘Safe Mode with Networking’ in the Advanced Boot menu (use ‘up’ or ‘down’ arrow keys to highlight the option, press ‘enter’ to select).
    • When Windows finishes loading in Safe mode, check if the same issue persists.

    Please reply with the findings.
