Issue:

Before my LCD was working fine, then i stoped using it for a little bit, now when i try to turn on the laptop the LCD like flashes for a second and then shuts off, few seconds later the entire computer turns off. I tried to connect it to an external monitor and it worked fine yet still no vision on my LCD. Then i tried a built in diagnostic that checks the LCD and while it checks it, the LCD turns on for a second and i could see. Any suggestions?

Anything will help at this point. =)
