If the laptop end of the plug is round for the Inspirions and your M1330, then: 

I would check the specs on your M1330 power adapter in the Dell label on the adapter ie watts, voltage, amps against those of the Latitudes.

Below, are the specs on a 3 prong power adapter that I got from Dell to replace the 2 prong that came with my M1530.  The 2 prong put a small current thru the keyboard area (known as the M1530 Tingle problem); the 3 prong eliminated the Tingle.

I had the same Q once, here's the reply I received:

The XPS M1330 uses a slim 65 W AC adapter. The plug that connects to the unit is designed to only fit the XPS M1330. The AC adapter cannot be used on other systems. However, a standard Dell 65 W or 90 W adapter with the barrel-shaped connector works fine on this system, as does the travel adapter.
