PRICES!!

i live in portugal and i am wondering why are there so little computers available to buy on the dell portuguese website? when i looked at the irish website there were more computers but the prices are significantly higher then the american site. is there anyway i can hip the laptop from america to portugal? dell are completley ignoring countries which they dont have a big market in, and the reason they dont have a big market in portugal is because the laptops are in short supply and they are much more expensive then most countries.

if there is no solution to shipping a dell laptop from america to portugal then im looking elsewhere for a laptop, it is ridiculous that dell have lower prices in one continent and high prices in an other!!!

Well maybe you should contact Dell directly as I doubt anyone on this board can answer your question. But I do understand your frustration because we here in this country see this same thing and not with computers but with oil prices!

When comparing European Dell prices to US prices, don't forget that US prices are listed excluding the sales tax whereas in Europe the tax is usually included in Dell's consumer web pages. Also, as much as web commerce makes sense, sometimes you get a better deal in Europe when you call Dell in an old-fashioned way in your country and ask them to give you a quotation with a competitive price.
