Problems with starting up

Hi,

I have a problems starting up my Inspiron 8600, when I push the power button, caps lights turn on for a few seconds and then the computer turns off again. I have to do this several times (5 to 10 times) before he really starts up. I tried reconfiguring the sleep mode, power management, removing the battery etc., but with no result.

Anyone any ideas?

    This seems to be a problem with some of the new i8600's. Call Dell Support since it is under warranty. They will run you through some diagnostics and then probably replace the motherboard. This seems to have fixed others' machines that have had the same problem.
