Shockwave

Does anyone know how to access the "free" subscription for Shockwave that came with the Dell Inspiron?

No. The free shockwave subscription from Dell is for a gaming site with 1 year's use for free.

I bought 2 identical Dell laptops with the 1 year free shockwave on both.  I received an email from Dell 1 week later with a link to activate shockwave on one of the laptops.  Never received the 2nd email for the other laptop.  After 6 phone calls to Dell support, I was told you should be able to activate it just by opening it on the laptop.  However, one of my laptops arrived and doesn't work.  What a Christmas present for my kids.  So I can't help you any further until Dell sends someone to "repair" the brand new laptop.  Then I will try to set up shockwave.  I don't want to do it now in case the email will work for both units.  6 different support reps had no answer for your question.

As far as I know, Shockwave is a Adobe multimedia player that has always been free to download.
