I have a Dell  Inspiron 15 3542  windows 8.1 that had touch and pen when I first received it ( around 4 months ago ).

After windows updates and Dell bios  Version A04 update my touch and pen no longer work.

In fact if I go to windows and look Touch and Pen  I see   (no pen or touch input is available for this display)

Also I have refreshed the laptop and  reinstalled windows and it still doesn't help.

 Anyone have this similar issue and has a fix ?   any help would be appreciated
