webcam driver
Hello.
I accidentally uninstalled my webcam driver.
I have dell vostro v131.
I have tried to install a new driver and have tried many different options to solve the problem (have renewed software, tried to install drivers etc, but when I open a webcam center there still appears a text: "No support webcam driver deteched. Pleas install the webcam driver using the Dell Resource CD and launch WebCam Center again."
Could you please tell me how to fix this problem? I would be very thankful if anyone could send me and exact link where I could download this exact driver I need.
Thank you very much in advance,
M.

Hello.
Thank you for your answer.
The problem is that Dell vostro v131 doesn't have a CD ROM so I can't insert Dell drivers disc and look for a driver there.
Is it possible to install a driver from the Internet?

M,
Did you recently install/reinstall the operating system? If yes, did you install the drivers in the correct order? How to Download and Install Drivers in the Correct Order

Troubleshooting the Dell Webcam and Dell Webcam Central Software
You can try this file, also known as Dell Webcam Central.
Create a new unrestricted user account and try the webcam. Did the webcam work?
If yes, log out and log back in to your account and try the webcam. Did the webcam work?
If no, then the webcam became detached from the motherboard, usually near the webcam
If your computer is under warranty, contact Dell Tech Support

Hi M,
Did you try inserting your Dell drivers disc and looking for a driver there? Sorry if that seems kind of obvious, but you didn't say whether you tried this.
