U2713HM "Lines" on display with flickering (again)
I have these problems, suddenly, after 10 months of perfect work, with no changes in my setup, the monitor started having it's 75% of the screen surface covered with flickering black lines. What's going on? I tried to answer in this thread, but I didn't find any "post reply" button. I will try to make the test failure, but what if it doesn't work? Can I ask for a new monitor after 10 months use? I was finishing a video project, and I didn't expect this issue with a good monitor as this, that's why I spent money on it!
If the lines are visible when running the Built-in Diagnostics 55-56, it is faulty. No, you will get a refurbished exchange. If the lines are NOT visible when running the Built-in Diagnostics, the monitor is fine.
Thanks for your reply. The lines and blinking are totally visible while running test mode in all colors. no change at all. This really shocks me, it has varely 4 months of real use, and not intensive at all. I an economical effort (for my pocket) in what I thought was a secure and "long lasting" option. but four months? What's the process to solve this issue in the better way? Thanks again for your support.
The U2713HM could have originated from a different region (Americas/Euro/Asia Pacific) which is why the tag is not showing on your regions site. The tag appears here. Use the service tag transfer form for Germany. When completed, 7-10 business days, your region can setup a monitor exchange.
this is starting to be the most unsuccessful and frustrating purchase of a product in all my life. I just can't believe the way dell handles a 10 months old 500€ monitor that is faulty.
i wrote the german support days ago, and no answer at all. this is the only monitor i have besides my laptop! how long is this procedure going to last??
why the tag number doesn't work? why you can't help me from u.s.a.?
