On our NetWorker server 7.2.2 and library with bar codes, when we try to label multiple tapes via GUI using the slot range for example 145-148, we get the following message :
The slot names must be in range 145-145. Thus we can only label tapes one by one.
but when using command prompt there no issue with the slot range labeling.
Is it the normal behavior ?
When you used the GUI to label the range of tapes, what did you have "highlighted" or selected in the tape range. I have seen before that if you have selected tape gave #x~xy and then request tapes outside of the range then Networker returns the message you are reporting.
Try going to the tape operations sections again and NOT selecting any tapes or empty /unasigned slots before using the format/label options.
Just select the tape range (by holding shift during the selection) and then press the label button.
That's not how it works in pre 7.3.x versions (Jeremie said he's at 7.2.2). Having range of tapes defined should work well (the only thing after is to select slow or fast labeling).
