problems with recovery of active directory items
Hallo,
server is NW 8.1 linux (RedHat), AD server is W2k8r2 with NW 8.0.2.3 and NMM 2.4.1.
I can successfully backup AD (save set is DC=mydomain, DC=local) and browse the
item. But when I try to start recover I get the error messages:
Unable to find save-set for host 'myhost' and save time '1378361029'.
A problem occurred when getting the first volume needed for the recover: Unable to get volume and host location when aggregating restore list.
Cannot find the volume needed.
Recovery stops and nothing is recovered.
With mminfo I can see the volume.
What could be the reason?

It appears to me that the relationship between the volume and the saveset is missing as the location of the volume is too, so I suggest you run the below command to verify the information.
mminfo #check client、volume and saveset
mmlocate #check location of volume
check the command reference guide if you may need to complete the commands with your parameters.

please run mmlocate to locate the tape and ensure if it is in the slot in the library.

Has the client been renamed or migrated?
Run nsrck -L7 and nsrim -X.
Then try the restore again.
