Properly remove PowerConnect 5548 from stack without bringing down the entire network?
In one of the closet we have a PowerConnect 5548(1) and 5524P(2) in a stack they are connect via the HDMI cable.
We are about to decommission the 5548 and we have created all the ports and VLANs necessary on the 5524P. Within the stack there are routing. But I am hoping that will all stay in the 5524P when we remove the 5548 physically.
My question is what is the proper procedure to now remove the PowerConnect 5548 from the stack (1) while retaining all the config in the 5524P?
all the ethernet rj45 and SFP+ cables are all on the 5524P.
Thanks!

Hi @mbze430,
You probably need to find out which would be the Master switch of the stack as the configuration will be remained in the Master. Also, the configuration will only sync with the Master Backup and not all of the remain in the stack.
