Home Network connect issues

I have stumped the Dell Network gurues and I am now posting on line to see if I can get this problem fixed.  I have three computers on home network, all three have same workgroup name, all three see each other, and my laptop and wifes computer connect to each other.  But neigher connect to my dell.  The Dell  will connect to the other two also.  I have checked all IP settings on all three computers.  I have reset share on all computers, I have unchecked firewall in XP.  I checked my norton to see if it was affecting my system, I have tryed in safe mode to see if that would work.  nothing seems to work.  The last time this happen I was on the phone with Dell Support for 4 hours with out resoloving and had to reformat and reinstall all my software to resolve issue.  I do not want to do that again.  any help would be appreciated.

If you have Norton Internet Security, try completely uninstalling it as a troubleshooting step to see if that is what it affecting the local network accessibility.
